100 Days to Healthy - Its Just an Idea

"I've got an idea!" I exclaimed.

"Oh no, not another one"

People who know me well are accustomed to hearing that line, but this was a rather cunningly simple but robustly good idea.

The clue is hidden in the five words...one ...hundred...days...to... healthy. Can you guess?

Like many good ideas its simple on first sight but dense with meaning. We can unpack its treasure with a premise and a few questions.

I personally believe many of us, possibly all of us have an inner healing wisdom that can guide us down our very personal road to Wellville.

What do you think, do you agree?

Its also interesting to ask the question "What would happen to us if we organised our priorities in such a way as we just did the good things we believe we need to do to support our well being, and suspended or stopped doing the bad things that undermine our well being for long enough (100 days ) to observe the effect.

At this point you may be thinking something along the lines of "Well genius I would imagine you might feel pretty good"

So let me confound you with one last question then "..and why don't YOU then, and let me know how you get along?"

But but but! you complain I have responsibilities child care, work, deadlines, study, facebook, insert your own personal variation here _____

I couldn't just stop what i'm doing and just look after myself properly that's ridiculous!

I'm not suggesting you stop doing your essentials, I'm inviting you, and of course me too, to just carve out some time and put self care and health as number one priority for long enough to observe the effect. For me I can easily get wrapped up in a building project and thats where things start to slide.

Now I did try this idea on myself very diligently for 100 days a couple of years ago and so I have a good idea of what a profoundly magical experience this can be. This time its my intention to share my journey with you and offer you tools and resources that may be of use to you, if you care to join me. It can be like a game of snakes and ladders but that's all part of the education as it happens.

A simple idea, place your health as first priority above all else, let your inner healer guide you to the good stuff, minimise the bad stuff. Do that for long enough (100 days) so you can reap the harvest and see what happens
